About
T.C. Chan Center
Our goal is to connect the academic and professional worlds of sustainability research. The mission of the T. C. Chan Center is to develop new knowledge, tools, processes, techniques and continuing education for professionals involved in building energy and technology. The goal is to create healthier, productive, energy efficient strategies that will lead to high performance buildings and sustain(able) environments.
Statement from our Founder and Director, Dr. Ali Malkawi
“We are working on developing fundamental research that will influence how buildings are designed, managed, constructed and operated. We are making important contributions in many areas which allows us to be one of the few players around the globe developing simulation tools and techniques to design and operate buildings. With a consortium membership that represents around half a million employees worldwide and partnerships and projects around the globe we are making a difference in several regions including China, central America and the middle east. This influence is resulting in a fundamental shift of current practice toward more sustainable environments.”
