Monterrey International Airport Terminal B Solar and CFD Studies
Solar and thermal studies were conducted for the Monterrey International Airport Terminal B. The studies were conducted to evaluate the performance of the building and provide advice on decreasing its energy consumption and increasing thermal comfort. The analysis included building skin effectiveness studies, low energy solution strategies, uncovering information regarding the operation of the openings in the skin to ensure effective performance for the strategies suggested, and ensuring the effectiveness of the double skin roof and provide a strategy to optimize its use.
